Who We Are

Day at a Time Club is a nonprofit community space in Lakewood, Colorado, where recovery begins simply—with a chair, a room, and people who understand. Every week, we host more than 60 12-step meetings for a wide range of fellowships, including Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Al-Anon, CMA, CoDA, and others.

We’re not a treatment center. We don’t offer therapy. What we offer is something quieter, but just as powerful: a safe, judgment-free place to land when life feels unmanageable.

Whether you’re brand new to recovery, coming back after a break, or just curious about what healing might look like, you are welcome here.

Come as you are. No pressure. No perfection. Just honesty, hope, and a community that gets it.

What to Expect

You don’t need to sign up or speak if you don’t want to. Meetings typically last about an hour. Some focus on specific recovery tools, others on shared experiences. All are rooted in mutual respect and the 12-step traditions.

You’ll find coffee, chairs, literature, and most importantly—people who understand. Whether it’s your first time here or your first time back, you’ll be met with kindness and acceptance.
